Welcome to the Lake Jackson Swim Team.  We are a summer recreation league that practices and hosts meets at the Lake Jackson Recreation Center.  We are a member of Coastal Cities Aquatic Association and are sponsored by the city of Lake Jackson and the Recreation Center.

 

The team functions under the rules of Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) and the rules of CCAA.

 

12 and under swimmers must not have participated in USA swim meets since December 31, 2023.

 

Requirements:

• Must be 5 years old by June 1st, 2024.

• New swimmers must tryout and be able to swim freestyle 25 yards (1 pool length) with head down in the water for age 10 and under, or 50 yards (2 pool lengths) for ages 11 and up.

• Masters swimmers must be able to meet the above requirements, as well as keep up with the practice pace, as determined by the coach.

• Certified USMS Level 1 Coach
